PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic viscous fluid which includes numerous ferromagnetic particles, in which coagulation sedimentation is hard to occur, and which is high in dispersion stability and large in viscous change.;SOLUTION: A magnetic viscous fluid having high viscous change properties contains: a dispersion particle including 50 to 90 mass% of ferromagnetic particles having an average particle diameter of 15-70 μm and 0.9 to 9 mass% of magnetic fine particles having a particle diameter of 30 nm or less; and the balance dispersion medium composed of a flame retardant solvent having low volatility. A mass ratio of the total amount of magnetic fine particles/the total amount of the ferromagnetic particles is 1/100 to 10/100.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
