PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a different kind of LNG receiving device and a different kind of LNG receiving method capable of flexibly performing application of an LNG tank and also easily taking countermeasure to the existing LNG tank without limiting the application on a large scale.;SOLUTION: A different kind LNG receiving device for receiving different kind LNG having properties different from residual LNG to an LNG tank 10 includes: a mixing device 11 installed on a receiving system pipe line 12a; a lower receiving system pipe line 12b for supplying a mixed LNG made effluent from the mixing device 11, from a lower part of the LNG tank 10 to the LNG tank 10; a lower receiving system valve 13a attached to the lower receiving system pipe line 12b; a mixing system pipe line 12e which is branched from between an issue system pump 14 attached to an issue system pipe line 12d and an issue system valve 13c and is used for supplying the residue LNG from the LNG tank 10 to the mixing device 11; and a mixing system valve 13d attached to the mixing system pipe line 12e.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
