PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a similarity search program, device and method for deriving similarity by taking, not just the frequency of occurrences of words, but also the flow of a story between sentences into consideration.;SOLUTION: The present invention has: scene analysis means for deriving, by a complex sentence analysis and a case analysis, a "scene element" including the inter-word relation of a "subject, object, and predicate" and a "scene sequence" in the sentence of the scene element from the beginning in correlation for each of a query sentence and a content sentence; matching means for comparing all scene elements of the content sentence against each scene element of the query sentence, and deriving a "scene sequence" in the content sentence that matched; and point imparting means for imparting increasingly higher points in proportion to the number of the scene elements of the query sentence and the content sentence that matched, and to the number of the time-series sequences of preceding and following scene elements that matched each other, the points representing similarity between the query sentence and the content sentence.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
