PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step for ascent/descent which can be fitted on an inner surface of a deck side plate for ascent to/descent from a truck deck.;SOLUTION: A step for ascent/descent A comprises: a body 1; and a plate-shaped step board 2 pivotably supported by a side plate part 4 of the body 1 through a shaft 3. When a deck side plate 12 stands, the shaft 3 pivotably supporting the step board 2 is located at the upper end part of the step board 2 in parallel with the deck side plate 12 to arrange the step board 2 to droop facing the deck side plate 12. When the deck side plate 12 lies, the shaft 3 pivotably supporting the step board 2 is located at the lower end part of the step board 2 so that the step board 2 is turned by its own weight to be stopped by a stopper mechanism after a 90° turn, in a vertical state relative to the deck side plate 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
