PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a computer program for calculating a contact surface pressure between two objects that allow for correct and visual input of shapes of the two objects whose contact surface pressure to be calculated regardless complexity of their shapes, and also allow for an efficient contact surface pressure calculation.;SOLUTION: A user uses a three-dimensional CAD system 100 to draw solid shapes near a contact plane CP of a first object 200 and a second object 300, both being in contact with each other, as well as a reference plane BP near the contact plane CP, thereby generating three-dimensional CAD data of the object and three-dimensional CAD data of the reference plane. Next, the user executes a program for calculating a distance between two objects, the program being set on the three-dimensional CAD system 100 as a plug-in module, thereby calculating distances z1, z2, which are respectively distances between the first object 200 and the second object 300, and measurement points MP on the reference plane BP in a vertical direction, by expanding the first object 200, second object 300 and reference plane BP.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
