PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of boehmite having a uniform particle shape, and to provide boehmite.;SOLUTION: A production method of boehmite for heating and reacting aluminum hydroxide includes a holding step for holding a temperature constant in a holding time in the range of 10 minutes to 10 hours at a holding temperature in the range of 60°C or higher and below a reaction temperature, and a heating-up step for raising the temperature up to the reaction temperature at an average rate of temperature rise of 25-50°C/hour after the holding step.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
