PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating the elastic modulus of the polar surface of a resin film whose surface has adhesion.;SOLUTION: A method is provided for measuring the elastic modulus of the polar surface of a resin film whose surface has adhesion resulting from silane coupling agent processing and so on using an atomic force microscope. The probe of the atomic force microscope is made to contact with a solid material sample with an elastic displacement that is the displacement of the solid material sample within a range of providing elastic deformation without plastic deformation.
