PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial intelligence that evaluates meaning, novelty, authenticity, logical validity, etc. of inputted information, autonomously acquires knowledge, and keeps constructing knowledge for problem solving.SOLUTION: An autonomous learning type knowledge construction device generates from inputted information and the like, a thinking pattern which is similar to a series of thinking patterns generated by a human being with respect to a certain condition, and keeps constructing a significant connection relationship to a subsequently recalled thinking pattern. The knowledge construction device evaluates logical validity of a value of inputted information on the basis of already registered knowledge and keeps updating the knowledge to a logic with increased logical validity. Moreover, the knowledge construction device searches for additional information with regard to information that is difficult to comprehend so as to autonomously expand the knowledge. At an initial stage, knowledge relationships, problem solving methods, etc. are taught by a human being or the like, however at the next stage, the knowledge construction device autonomously determines a value of information to construct knowledge by itself and further to construct knowledge similar to or even superior to that of human beings in order to be capable of implementing appropriate situational determination and behavior.
