PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model cable for a test capable of performing a test in a high electric field, such as a dielectric breakdown test or the like, for an object to be tested having a thin insulation thickness.;SOLUTION: The model cable for a test includes: a conductor being a rod-like material an outer periphery of which is provided with an insulating material for a test being a test object of insulation performance, and having a main body part having an outer diameter uniform in an axis direction, and inclined parts provided at both ends of the main body part, and of which outer diameters gradually become smaller from a main body part side to both end sides; a lead connected to at least one of the sides of the inclined parts of the conductor, for energizing the conductor; and an insulating part on one side and an insulating part on the other side provided on both end sides of the main body part in the conductor. The insulating part on one side covers at least both an outer periphery of one inclined part and an outer periphery of a part of the lead, and the insulating part on the other side covers at least an outer periphery of the other inclined part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
