NOVEL HEART PROGENITOR (STEM) CELL REGULATOR WITH HIGH EFFICIENT HEART CELL DIFFERENTIATION ABILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out a regulator which can control heart progenitor cell and heart stem cell groups in common, and destines differentiation and induction from embryonic stem cells to heart progenitor cells, and also to develop a method which can provide heart progenitor cells and heart stem cells with high efficiency using such a regulator.SOLUTION: The screening studies of the candidate factor characteristically expressing in heart cells have been conducted by the inventors of the invention. And from the result of searches, such as coexpression with a marker characteristic to a heart muscle cell, finally 15 kinds of candidate factors are picked up, and, it is found out that particularly two factors among them are common factors in heart stem cells.
