PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical nano-indentation tester capable of accurately measuring influence of hydrogen at a slow strain rate at which hydrogen embrittlement becomes obvious.;SOLUTION: An electrochemical nano-indentation tester includes: an electrochemical cell 1 holding a sample 8 and electrochemically charging hydrogen into a surface of this sample 8; an indenter 14 pushed into the surface of the sample 8 in a hydrogen charging process; a controller 20 controlling an indentation load and indentation time of the indenter 14; a transducer 24 that serves as a load generator and a detector detecting the indentation load and a displacement of the indenter 14; an arbitrary waveform generator 22 that performs amplitude modulation on the indentation load; a lock-in amplifier 23 detecting contact rigidity; and an arithmetic unit 21 calculating nano hardness of the sample 8, the indentation load being modulated when the indenter 14 is pushed into the sample 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
