PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freshness date managing device and a freshness date managing program capable of preventing the generation of stock of old articles unsuited for delivery (or enhancing prevention possibility).;SOLUTION: A handy terminal HT gains an article code and a freshness date correlated with an article 30 to be received. The freshness date as a received standard is gained on the basis of the article code and received freshness date data D1. A freshness date of a lot and the freshness date as the received standard are compared and a result is outputted, and a value of the freshness date as the received standard is renewed. Further, an article code and a freshness date correlated with an article 30 as a shipping candidate are gained. The freshness date as the shipping standard ia gained per shipping destination on the basis of the article code and shipping freshness date data D3.
