PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing lens having a simple structure for preventing deadlock at low costs.;SOLUTION: An image capturing lens includes; a housing (2); a lens (L1); a lens holder (4) for holding the lens (L1); a worm wheel (5) which is rotated about an optical axis (CL1) relative to the housing (2) to move the lens holder (4) along the optical axis (CL1); a motor (8) having a drive gearwheel (8a); a worm (7) having a gearwheel (7c) engaged with the drive gearwheel (8a) and a worm teeth (7b) engaged with a wheel teeth (5a) of the worm wheel (5); a base section (6a) fixed to the housing (2); and a holding section (6b) which holds the motor (8) and the worm (7) and is integrally formed such that the holding section (6b) is coupled with the base section (6a) only through the coupling section (6c) and is movable between a first position, at which the worm teeth (7b) of the worm (7) are engaged with the wheel teeth (5a), and a second position, at which the wheel teeth (5a) are disengaged, by deformation of the coupling section (6c).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
