PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geometric deviation measurement method and a geometric deviation measurement device capable of efficiently and accurately identifying the geometric deviation.;SOLUTION: In the geometric deviation measurement method of a machine tool 100 having a plurality of straight axes X, Y, and Z and rotation axes A and C, a probe 10 disposed on one of a main axis 2 and table 3 is made to face a target ball 15 disposed on the other of the main axis 2 and table 3. The rotation axes A and C are rotated, and the position of the target ball 15 is continuously measured while the straight axes X, Y, and Z are made to follow the rotation.
