PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partial video detection device, a partial video detection method, and a partial video detection program capable of detecting the position of a partial video where frames appropriately match in accordance with a similarity value.;SOLUTION: A similarity value calculation unit 22 calculates a similarity value by comparing the feature value of each frame in an inputted video 14 and an accumulated video 12 within an interval subject to processing. A threshold value calculation unit 24 creates a frequency distribution of similarity values for each of a plurality of threshold value calculation intervals set within the interval subject to processing, and sets a similarity value having a maximum degree of separation as a threshold value. A detection position setting unit 26 sets, for each threshold value calculation interval, a frame whose similarity value has changed from less than the threshold value to equal to or greater than the threshold value as a candidate for a start position or a candidate for an end position in the threshold value calculation interval. A detection position determination unit 28 sets a detection determination interval in accordance with the candidate for the start position or the candidate for the end position, and determines whether the set interval is appropriate on the basis of a similarity value of a frame preceding or following the candidate for the start position or the candidate for the end position.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
