PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension adjustment device for a movable handrail for an escalator which enables improvement in accuracy of tension adjustment with simpler constitution.;SOLUTION: A tension adjustment device 30, which presses a flexible guide part 22, which is provided on a portion of a handrail rail 14 to which a movable handrail 12 is attached with a predetermined load and adjusts tensile force of the movable handrail 12, includes a contact part 36 which contacts the flexible guide part 22, an energization part 34 of which one end is connected to the contact part 36, and a pressing part 38 which presses the other end of the energization part 34 and can move so as to reduce the energization part 34 to a predetermined size.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
