PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal foil with a carrier, with which peeling off of the metal foil from the carrier is prevented during production of a laminated substrate.SOLUTION: A metal foil 1 with a carrier has: a plate-like carrier 3; a metal foil 5 laminated on one face of the plate-like carrier 3 in the thickness direction and extending beyond an edge face of the one face so as to cover a side face of the plate-like carrier 3 and so as to be laminated on the other face of the plate-like carrier 3 in the thickness direction; and a fixing member 7 to fix the carrier 3 and the metal foil 5 to each other.
