PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the display position of a pointer by taking into consideration of the display position of an object being displayed on a display surface.;SOLUTION: A multi-display device according to the present invention is provided with an object coordinate value detection unit for detecting a coordinate area on display surface of an object at an end section of the display surface of a display device and a movement prohibited area setting unit for setting, on the basis of the coordinate area on display surface of the object, a movement prohibited area at an end section of the display surface of another display device adjacent to the end section at which the object exists. A pointer position control unit, provided in the multi-display device, controls the display position on the display surface of a pointer that is displayed on the display surface in accordance with the manipulation of a pointing device. When, after determining that the display position on the display surface of the pointer exists within the movement prohibited area, the pointer position control unit determines that the display position on the display surface of the pointer based on the manipulation of the pointing device exists at a boundary of the display surface on the end section side at which the movement prohibited area is set, the pointer position control unit locates this display position of the pointer at the boundary for a prescribed time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
