PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid ejection device whose nozzle unit and piezoelectric element unit are detachably attachable.SOLUTION: A fluid ejection device 10, which ejects a liquid from a nozzle 95 in a pulsed manner by reducing a volume of a fluid chamber 120 by means of a diaphragm 70, includes: a nozzle unit 11 that includes the fluid chamber 120, an inlet flow path 83 for supplying the liquid to the fluid chamber 120, an outlet flow path 88 for discharging the liquid from the fluid chamber 120, and the nozzle 95 communicating with the outlet flow path 88; and a piezoelectric element unit 12 that includes a piezoelectric element 40 for displacing the diaphragm 70, wherein the nozzle unit 11 and the piezoelectric element unit 12 are mounted in a detachably attachable manner.
