PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that includes both a function to arrange an effective comfortable space by using a sensuous effect brought about by natural environment to act on the senses of a human including the sense of sight, hearing, and smell.SOLUTION: In the inside of a main body frame 5 of a floor installation type image display device, take-up rolls 6a and 6b for taking up an image film 1 are arranged in parallel in the vertical direction while engaged with a motor, and liquid crystal displays 7a and 7b for displaying moving images and character information are arranged on the right and left side surfaces. The floor installation type image display device further includes an electric light character display plate 8 at the upper part on the outside, a fragrance providing device 2, an acoustic device 3, and minus ion supplying devices 4 at the lower part on the inside, and a remote control reception sensor 9 and a remote control transmitter 10.
