PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoration method by which a decoration such as a patters as required can be easily performed on a surface of an article such as a glass product by even an amateur, and a product decorated by this method.SOLUTION: In a decoration method of the present invention, a transparent ultraviolet curable adhesive 30 is coated onto a bottom surface of a bottom part 11a of a wine glass body 11, a planar or granular decorative stock 20 is applied onto a surface of an article coated with the ultraviolet curable adhesive, the ultraviolet curable adhesive 30 is coated onto the decorative stock 20, and then the ultraviolet curable adhesive 30 is cured by irradiating the ultraviolet curable adhesive 30 with ultraviolet ray so as to decorate a surface of a wine glass, whereby decoration as required by a user can be easily performed on the surface of the wine glass.
