PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor light viewing environment control system capable of effectively attaining visual comfort improvement and energy saving by totally managing an indoor light viewing environment in a living space of a house or the like all day long not only in the nighttime but also in the daytime.SOLUTION: An indoor light viewing environment control system comprises an indoor illuminance sensor device 14 installed indoors, an outdoor illuminance sensor device 15 installed outdoors, an outdoor temperature measuring device 16 installed outdoors, a shading opening/closing device 18 for opening/closing a shading member 17 which is provided while covering a lighting window 12, and a control device 19 which is connected with these devices and controls indoor illumination and opening/closing of the shading member on the basis of information obtained from these devices. The control device 19 can switch to a nighttime illumination mode, a lighting priority mode or an insolation shading mode in accordance with the illuminance or the temperature measured by the indoor illuminance sensor device 14, the outdoor illuminance sensor device 15, and the outdoor temperature measuring device 16.
