PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a lithium manganese oxide-based lithium-adsorbing material, capable of suppressing the elution of manganese without severely impairing the adsorption characteristics to lithium ions.;SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a lithium-adsorbing material includes the steps of: (1) adding a basic solution to a first aqueous solution containing metal ions so as to prepare a second aqueous solution containing hydroxide oligomers of the metals; (2) adding particles of lithium manganese oxide to the second aqueous solution so as to prepare a suspension; (3) drying the suspension to form a dried product; and (4) heating the dried product in an oxidative atmosphere. The particulate lithium-adsorbing material produced after the step (4) includes particles of lithium manganese oxide and metal oxides covering at least a part of the surface of the lithium manganese oxide.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
