PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the Patent Number 4608643 and utilize the Patent with this invention for a prediction of a large earthquake or a giant earthquake under the situation, in which: steady, non-steady, and periodic stress changes of a crust change earthquake occurrence and a crust surface state; a large earthquake or a giant earthquake occurs when an anomaly of the crust surface state change, which can be observed through seismic waves and GPS, appears; and the detection of the anomaly as a sign theoretically makes the predictions of an occurrence time, an occurrence place and a magnitude of an earthquake possible, but practically does not, because the observed time sequences randomly change and the changes of the time sequences cannot be described by a deterministic physical law.;SOLUTION: A new difference operation, which correctly reflects physical properties related to time reversal included in a differential operation, is established and applied to random time sequences which are obtained from an observation of the crust stress changes, and thus a deterministic natural law for an occurrence of a large earthquake or a giant earthquake is established using a physical law.
