PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an investigation method for a cast-in-place pile driving ground and a ground investigation machine attachment, by which work man-hours are decreased and the bearing capacity of a ground can be accurately grasped.;SOLUTION: A ground is drilled at a position where a cast-in-place pile is driven by using a casing rod 11 and the upper end and the lower end of a protective pipe 6 extended to the hole bottom of a drill hole H with the casing rod 11 built in are held at a prescribed position, while an automatic ram sounding investigation machine 1 is installed at a position above the drill hole H in a state that a rod 3 is inserted in the protective pipe 6, and setting is completed.
