PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for a wideband digital to analog converter with a built-in load attenuator.;SOLUTION: A circuit 310 includes a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) 322. The DAC includes a double cascaded current source and a differential current-mode switch (DCMS). The circuit further includes a direct current (DC) offset stage 324 and a load attenuator 330.
