PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized linear motor having high performance and high reliability.;SOLUTION: This linear motor is composed of a magnetic field part 50 formed by sequentially disposing a plurality of permanent magnets 52 alternately having different polarities in a motor driving direction, an armature 3 comprising a split laminated core 31 formed by laminating thin plates 36, an insulating member disposed so as to insulate the periphery of the split laminated core 31, and a drive coil 34 wound by the insulating member, and a movable part 1 including a fixing base 6 for fixing the plurality of armatures 3.
