PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saccharification method capable of saccharifying with an excellent saccharification rate in the reaction of a hydrolase and cellulose contained in woody biomass.;SOLUTION: There is provided a production method for woody biomass, comprising: a powdering step in which at least one woody biomass selected from wood chip and waste building material is treated by crushing to provide woody biomass powder; and a saccharification treatment step in which the woody biomass powder is hydrolyzed to provide sugar in the presence of a polymer type activator, at least one anionic activator selected from sulfosuccinic acid type activators of formula (1) and a hydrolase.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
