This leveling device (3) on a base frame (1) supports an air rail (2) and adjusts the height of the air rail (2) with respect to the base frame (1). The leveling device (3) comprises: a disc spring group which expands and contracts in the height direction of the air rail (2) with respect to the base frame (1); a columnar indenter in which a first through-hole (324) for inserting a bolt (4) therethrough from one end surface to the other end surface (323) is formed and a first edge is formed outward on the one end surface side; a columnar spring guide in which a second through-hole (334) for inserting the bolt (4) therethrough from one end surface to the other end surface is formed and a flange part is formed outward on the one end surface side; and a cylindrical housing in which a second edge is formed inward in one opening. Consequently, the present invention achieves an improvement in the workability of work for adjusting the spacing between two members (the base frame (1) and the air rail (2)).
