PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for warming an infant, having an alignment feature to sufficiently and uniformly warm an infant patient.;SOLUTION: This infant warmer (10) includes a heater canopy (18) comprising a heater (30) configured to disperse radiant energy uniformly on the whole over a fixed region. The heater canopy (18) may further include a lamp (32) configured to selectively generate light. The heater canopy (18) further includes a stencil (34) positioned on the basis of the lamp (32), and at least a part of light may thereby pass through the stencil (34) and form a projection image (56).
