PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-filled ferrite carrier that achieves a longer service life and is significantly improved in durability while maintaining advantages of a resin-filled carrier, and to provide an electrophotographic developer using the resin-filled ferrite carrier.SOLUTION: The resin-filled ferrite carrier for an electrophotographic developer comprises ferrite particles in which vacancies of a porous ferrite core material are filled with a resin, and a resin coating the surfaces of the ferrite particles. A contact angle with pure water of the resin for filling the cavities is larger than a contact angle of the coating resin with pure water. An electrophotographic developer is obtained by using the above resin-filled ferrite carrier.
