PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sloshing suppressing device which is easily carried in the fixed roof type storage tank, and easily developed in the storage tank, and capable of preventing occurrence of any situation that a roof part is broken by suppressing the occurrence of a considerably large wave even when a considerably large wave (the vertical motion of the liquid level) occurs on the liquid surface in the storage tank by a severe sloshing phenomenon caused by an unexpectedly large earthquake.;SOLUTION: In the sloshing suppressing device, a plurality of spherical bodies floating on the liquid surface are connected to each other by a rope member in a fixed roof type storage tank. Further, the plurality of spherical bodies are juxtaposed without any space therebetween so as to substantially cover the entire liquid surface.
