PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic solvent dispersion containing an organic solvent and flaky oxide particles having a perovskite structure dispersed in the organic solvent. PSOLUTION: The organic solvent dispersion is produced by a method including: a first step of bringing layered perovskite oxide particles into contact with organic cations, exfoliating the layered structure and producing an aqueous dispersion of flaky perovskite oxide particles; a second step of extracting a solid containing the flaky perovskite oxide particles from the aqueous dispersion; and a third step of dispersing the solid in an organic solvent.
