PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an approaching-vehicle notification device and a control method therefor, with workability and work efficiency improved during a sensory test.;SOLUTION: An approaching-vehicle notification device includes: vehicle speed detection means 8 for detecting a vehicle speed of a vehicle 10; braking-detection means 7 for detecting a breaking operation of the vehicle 10; first sound issuance means 2 for issuing an approach-notification sound in accordance with a magnitude of the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed detection means 8; and second sound issuance means 3 for issuing an inspection-dedicated sound that is different from the approach-notification sound on the basis of an input pattern of the braking operation detected by the braking-detection means 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
