The CeZr-based oxide satisfies CexZryO2 (x + y = 1), and the silicon is 0.02%. It is characterized by satisfying a molar ratio of Si / Zr and 0.01 Si / (Ce + Zr + Si) 0.2. This catalyst can lower the reduction temperature for generating initial oxygen defects, and reduction activation treatment is possible even at about 20 ° C., which does not require any heating depending on the catalytically active metal.
