PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium for selecting and separating enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli by which the typical serotype of the enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli can be discriminated, and selected and separated, and to provide a method for discriminating the serotype of the enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli.;SOLUTION: The medium for selecting and separating the enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli includes a chromogenic substrate of β-galactosidase, a chromogenic substrate of β-glucuronidase, bile acids, and sorbitol or rhamnose.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
