PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selecting and separately culturing medium capable of selecting by identifying and separately culturing enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli O-157, O-26 and O-111 in test specimens.;SOLUTION: This selecting and separately culturing medium for identifying the enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli O-157, O-26 and O-111 is obtained by adding rhamnose, a pH-indicator and an enzyme chromogenic substrate of a glucuronide derivative as differentiating agents and also adding a tellurite, cefixime, a bile salt and/or lauryl sulfate as selecting agents, to a base medium for detecting the Escherichia coli.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
