PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic method of cancer which uses copy numbers or expression levels of -actinin-4 gene as a marker. PSOLUTION: The invention discloses the method which consists of counting copy numbers of -actinin-4 gene in cells originated from mammalian localization suspected to be cancer, in detecting cancer of a mammalian.
