PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more accurate method of prognosis prediction for breast cancer.SOLUTION: The method of assisting diagnosis for prognosis of breast cancer comprises: a step of detecting an ACTN4 gene included in a biological sample of a patient; and a step of determining that the prognosis for breast cancer is poor if at least one selected from the group consisting of an increased copy number of the ACTN4 gene, and amplified ACTN4 gene exists, and that the patient is HER2 negative, hormone receptor positive and lymph node metastasis negative.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
