PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assessment method that reduces clerical costs for assessment when executing collateralized financing, and to reduce costs for bad-debt loss by using the assessment method.;SOLUTION: In a financing system 100, if a customer inputs required information, related to a collateral, into a prescribed form from a terminal 110, a server 1 calculates a provisional collateral value from the inputted information of a collateral object. The server 1 sets general risk factors regarding the collateral object as adjustment items and holds an adjustment rate for each adjustment item as an adjustment table 141, and adds up the corresponding adjustment rates so as to multiply the provisional collateral value by the added-up adjustment rate as the final adjustment rate and to automatically determine the collateral value.
