PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry syndrome ameliorating composition having an effect in ameliorating the conditions of a dry syndrome such as dry mouth, dry eye, and dry skin.;SOLUTION: A nitrogen monoxide (NO) production substance is taken as an active ingredient for amelioration of dry syndromes. The nitrogen monoxide (NO) production substance is preferably citrulline, arginine or argininosuccinic acid.
