PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging-up method of a column member with which a long column member can be hung up in a stable attitude and excellent work efficiency can be achieved.;SOLUTION: An I-shaped jig 70 is mounted in an upper part of a column member 10 in such a manner that a pair of annular portions 74 are brought into a positional relationship of line symmetry with respect to a center line of the column member 10. The I-shaped jig 70 is similarly mounted in a lower part of the column member. A stitch-in annular part 54 that a wire 50 comprises in one end is inserted through the upper annular portion 74. The stitch-in annular part 54 is connected to the lower I-shaped jig 70. An annular part 52 for connection that the wire 50 comprises in another end, is connected to a wire mounting ring 44 of a hanger 40.
