PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation system of a bicycle lane and a pedestrian lane by steel blocks, capable of making it easy to come and go between the bicycle lane and the pedestrian lane even while the bicycle lane and the pedestrian lane are separated.SOLUTION: A separation system 1a of a bicycle lane and a pedestrian lane by steel blocks comprises a steel block abutting body 3a to which a plurality of steel blocks 2a installed at a prescribed interval 4 linearly along a walking direction of an existing walkway 8 separated from a roadway 9 are abutted, and is configured to separate the existing walkway 8 into a new pedestrian lane 6 and a bicycle lane 7.
