PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle lane and pedestrian lane separating structure for reducing the manufacturing cost of construction materials while suppressing the extension of a construction period and an increase in the construction cost and suppressing environmental deterioration in a construction range.;SOLUTION: A separating structure 1 for separating a pedestrian pathway 8 into a pedestrian lane 6 and a bicycle lane 7 comprises: a plurality of steel blocks 20 installed on the pedestrian pathway 8 at predetermined spaces 4 along a walking direction; and steel fences 30 installed in the spaces 4. The steel blocks are each formed of a steel plate in a cross-section approximately truncated shevron shape with an upper face, a pair of side faces, and side face flanges at the lower edges of the side faces 22a, and fixed to the pedestrian pathway 8 with fixing machine screws passing through the side face flanges. The steel fences are each formed of a steel pipe with a beam part the outer periphery of which is encircled by a cushioning member, bent parts at both ends thereof, and column parts which are inserted and fixed at their lower ranges into the pedestrian pathway 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
