PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for specifically detecting the mites, Chelacaropsis moorei and Ornithonyssus bacoti. PSOLUTION: At least one of probe selected from the group consisting of a probe which has a specific base sequence and a probe which has a complementary sequence to the specific base sequence is immobilized on a microarray for detecting specific mites. A certain region of the genomic DNA of mites, Chelacaropsis moorei and/or Ornithonyssus bacoti, contained in a sample is amplified by the PCR method, using the PCR reaction solution which contains a PCR primer pair consisting of a specific base sequence and another specific base sequence, the sample genomic DNA, an enzyme for nucleic acid synthesis, and a substrate for nucleic acid synthesis.
