PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for learning identification of a vehicle driver capable of highly accurately learning for identifying a driver on the basis of a driving operation of the driver, through an appropriate management of data acquired based on the driving operation of the driver, and to provide a device and method for identifying a vehicle driver using the same.;SOLUTION: An on-vehicle control device 130 constituting a vehicle 100 includes a learning unit 132a that learns while classifying drivers' driving operation modes according to drivers on the basis of the feature amounts. The on-vehicle control device 130 further includes a management unit 132b that, when a driving operation mode with a trip defined as a unit is classified to two or more drivers through the learning by the learning unit 132a, performs an integral management by defining the learning result of the driving operation mode with the trip defined as a unit, as the driving operation mode of any one of drivers whose classification ratio is in an upper level in the trip.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
