PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating agglutinate copper-containing impurities capable of selectively leaching and recovering copper from the agglutinate copper-containing impurities generated in lead smelting and of recycling valuable resources included in residues to a lead smelting step, and to provide a lead smelting method using the same.SOLUTION: In a method for treating agglutinate copper-containing impurities discharged from lead smelting, after crude lead is melted in a lead smelting step, the agglutinate copper-containing impurities precipitated when lowering temperature is heated and leached while an oxidizing agent is supplied, so that copper and arsenic are separated from the agglutinate copper-containing impurities.
