The method also includes storing information regarding a price to obtain a license to the pool of patents and receiving a request for information for obtaining the license to the pool of patents, where the request for information is transmitted from a third-party. Also, the method includes processing the request for information for obtaining the license to the pool of patents with a processor, generating a message in response to the request, where the message contains at least one term or condition and a price, and transmitting the message.
