摘要

Prepared is a SnO2 doped with Sb (ATO) by sol-gel method in the presence of dodecylamine as a surfactant. The synthesized powder presents the highest specific surface reported up to now (216.7m2g-1) with a high electric conductivity (0.202 S cm-1) compared to that of Vulcan carbon XC-72. The stability test performed by cyclic voltamperometry in an acid medium (100 cycles of form about 0 to about 1.7 V vs NHE) shown that the ATO support maintains the stability thereof and the performance of the tested electrocatalyst, if compared to Vulcan XC-72. The ATO material is a support that may be used in electrochemical processes in which Vulcan Carbon is not recommended as a support.
