ECOLOGICAL PROCESS FOR CULTIVATION OF A VINE VARIETY WITH ERECT SHOOTS IN ARID ZONES

The invention relates to a process for cultivating the vine variety named "Columna", meant to be carried out in vine farms of arid zones. According to the invention, the process reduces the agrotechnical works and phytosanitary treatments by a variety-specific management of the vegetal wall which is shaped as a curtain, due to both the supporting system consisting of espaliers with three rows of double wires, on either side of the pillars, and a bridge elevated at 80 cm, and the winter cutting intended to diminish the fruit load to 20...25 nodes per vine, at the most, and by the green cutting works intended to remove sterile side shoots and to favour the fruit-bearing ones.
